How It Works
The WebCast transmitter sends audio over IP, received at the affiliate by the WebCast receiver.
Minimal Delay
Designed for dedicated high-bandwidth connections (above 1Mb), with optimized performance.
Remote Triggering
Alongside the audio it sends the local commercial-break trigger pulse — radio networks without a satellite.
Once connected to the internet and streaming the signal to the other end, even if the connection drops the application keeps trying to reconnect and automatically resumes streaming once the internet connection is restored. WebCast has a monitoring panel that logs information that could affect transmission stability and quality, such as processor load, packet loss, audio quality and memory usage.
